Miles and Henry dropped me home, I ate out with them so it was already late. The food didn’t get to my system well, not after the embarrassing thing that happened today. I can’t believe I let myself walk up to Grayson and started a talk with him. Fuck! I still blush with embarrassment because I was like a damn open book before his gaze and yet I can’t read anything off him. god just thinking about it made me flush and I couldn’t get my head straight, that particular moment kept playing in my head and I mentally called myself stupid each fucking time.
"How was school?"
I looked up at Vanessa in the kitchen.
"Um, you heard?"
She stopped with the dishes facing me with a sad look. "Yeah I heard" she nodded.
"You knew him" it wasn’t a question it was a fact because I could tell from her sad looks.
"Not too well but I did... it’s a sad passing"
I nodded. "Have you..." I gulped. "Have you found out what killed him?"
"We’re working on it Emma, there’s no need to concern yourself" she walked to me and rubbed my arms. "Just stay safe okay?"
