"Emma!"
I spun to Carly who rushed over to me and I found myself smiling as I watched her. She made a stop in front of me, releasing a sharp breath, I noticed she was about to speak but paused checking me out from head to toe with a smile.
"This is new"
"What?" I mused with a shrug of my shoulders.
"You look good" she checked me out again almost like she was seeing a different person.
But I didn’t seem different. "Oh," I said looking at my outfit, maybe it was because of this... I was in a black turtleneck sweater, short sleeves, and black jeans with marching shoes. "Just thought of something different" I shrugged while adjusting my glasses. A faint blush on my cheeks, this was part of the new clothes Dace got me, I had never felt so excited wearing new clothes before until now, it made me giddy inside wearing this and extremely comfortable.
"That’s nice. And it’s good to see you. I thought for a second that I won’t" She began as we both strolled the halls.
"Why won’t I come back?" I asked with a blink.
She gave me a look before speaking. "Well... it’s spread, everyone’s talking about it" she huffed.
"What?" I knew what she meant but I just needed to know what exactly was spreading.
"About your relationship with a werelion, blah blah blah... I think the entire family knows at this point, it’s the hot topic, everyone won’t stop talking about you, you’re popular"
