Chapter 171: First Date {2}
The ride was a quiet one but definitely not awkward, maybe it was just me because I was super nervous. My hands clam together and rubbed against each other with my thumb, my teeth in between my bottom lip. I was really trying to calm down but... I leveled my gaze to Dace’s hand against my thigh, how can I?
"You okay?"
I snapped my eyes to Dace, his focus on the road, and watching him right now was hard to look away.
"Y-Yeah"
I noticed a smile stretching his lips. "You’re quiet, are you comfortable?" at his words his hand moved and I tensed.
"Y-Yeah I am.... J-Just it’s my first date that all"
"Mine too" he mused, moving his gaze to me before going back to the road.
"Just relax okay? If you’re tensed then I will be"
"Okay," I said faintly with a nod and then a smile found my lips as I took my eyes back to the road.
"And we’re here... first stop," he said, making a smooth turn to the parking lot.
"B-But this isn’t the theater," I said, giving a puzzled look as I observed the big building before us. "Dace?" I faced him and he winked coming down from the car.
