"Well in a bookstore such as the one you visited, Owen’s parents own most of them" she rubbed her hands on her knees, still looking hesitant.
"And?" I urged. Because I knew that already.
"There are some books that cannot be given to the public because they hold spells that only witches can see and read"
"You mean I had a spell book in the form of a history book?"
"That’s why it’s a panic"
"But..." I blinked, "B-But I’m not a witch or anything", she did say only a witch could see it and I didn’t see a thing except history.
"The point is humans can’t hold such things because some are prone to get cursed"

"Carly!" Vanessa snapped at her and she kept her mouth shut.

"No no Emma, if you were I would have felt it" Vanessa assured me.
