Chapter 57: Avoid?
"Y-You aren’t saying anything," I said faintly.
"Okay everyone, studying plants, very important. Botany classes will be held here, making it more practical of what they look like, how they are related to each other, where they grow, how people make use of plants, and how plants evolved," Our teacher explained.
Murmurs came from the rest as they circled around the Greenhouse, checking the plants and jotting things down.
I held my notebook but I was more concerned about a silent Dace than listing things out. He has been awfully quiet since the parking lot, strangely enough... he kept me close but I really needed to hear his voice.
"How’s your hand?"
I rolled my eyes, that’s all he has to say? I watched as he felt a plant with the tip of his fingers, he had no notebook so I wondered how he was gonna take note of everything, well speaking of notes I haven’t jotted anything at ALL!
"I said I’m staying and you haven’t said anything" I couldn’t resist the shaky sound of my voice and his eyes snapped at me.
"You said it’s your choice"
Was that the problem?
"Yes and I mean it"
