We struck a deal with them, keep the vampires away and then have a place here, more like own various parts but it was merely little to them, werelion are luxurious creatures, but over time it worked"

I don’t know why but I felt something heavy in my chest when she said those words to me, that was nothing but the truth and I believe her, after what I have seen it all made sense why everyone dislike them, they came to dominant this wonderful town, if not for the bargain what could have happened to the other families? My family. Then why was I feeling a sting in my heart because I knew all her words were a clear action to stay away from Dace, I SHOULD stay away from him, what happened was a perfect explanation and yet I felt like I was forced into doing it, do I still want to be with him?
