Chapter 43: School Trip
I was still a blushing mess as I searched for an empty seat to settle on, as I did I spotted Owen, Miles beside him, and Henry was behind pressing his phone but I didn’t see Sarah.
Owen shared a look with me and I mouthed ’You’re in big trouble’ he mouthed back ’I’m sorry’ but I just rolled my eyes sliding into my seat, settling my bag on my lap, and folding my arms, I was certain I look like a child who didn’t wanna go on a family vacation.
My head has been in a mix ever since the little discovery I did, I was both confused, startled, and maybe angry, what was I even angry about, this was becoming extremely frustrating and the more I think about it the more I feel like I’m going crazy and I felt antsy or maybe it was because of Dace’s stare on me, I could feel it without even looking.
"Emilia’s a telepath isn’t she?" I snapped at him before I could stop myself and Dace gave me a look of both surprise and confusion, so I was right?"
"Alright since we have all settled in I would like to give a speech" Coach Noah’s voice came through and next were groans from the others.
"Come on Coach, you’re the one who said we should get going," some guy said.
"And that doesn’t stop me from giving my speech, order, that’s an order!" he barked and the bus circled in a groan again.
"How did you find that out," Dace said to me in a low tone, he narrowed his eyes on me and I quickly looked away.
"A simple trip to get a glimpse of nature, yeh? But that doesn’t mean there won’t be coordination as you all know I’m sort of responsible for you little brats so be grateful"
"Really Noah?" Mrs. Kate said at the front and he shrugged like he didn’t just call us brats.
"I made my research" I finally spoke facing Dace but I look away quickly I was somewhat scared of the look he was giving me like I just did something really bad, maybe I have.
