Chapter 312: Kyle’s annoyance
THIRD PERSON’S POV
Kyle took a deep breath, giving the mother-daughter pair a moment to reconcile, and looked at his watch.
When ten minutes passed and he saw Matilda walking towards their house, he stopped her.
"If you are done reminiscing about your sorrows, let’s go to the cremating grounds. We have to bury Alpha Tyler," Kyle said, his voice cold and devoid of emotions.
Joseph immediately stepped forward, feeling wronged by the tone Kyle was using.
It has been like this since he returned.
They had yet to find out that it wasn’t the council that appointed Kyle as the active decision-maker until their alpha was decided.
It was Valencia who was right now their alpha until she rejected the position formally.
"Beta Kyle, how can you act so rudely to my daughter? Can’t you see she has returned after such a long journey? She needs to get her emotions together after she has lost so much. Don’t forget we are a beta family, and before you, I was the acting beta of the pack," Joseph said.
Kyle looked at Matilda before looking at the former beta.
A scoff left his mouth.
