VALENCIA’S POV
"Are you going to turn me in?" I finally asked after some time as he took me further inside the mall.
The Lycan, Asher, looked at me as if contemplating what he wanted to do with me and if I was worth the trouble.
"For now, I want to have my breakfast in peace. Want to join?" He asked and I nodded without a second thought.
"Are you paying?" I asked instinctively before realizing my mistake.
Clearing my throat, I shook my head to tell him that wasn’t what I meant.
"I mean, I can pay for our meals," I said.
He looked at me as if he was studying me slowly before nodding his head.
I scowled at his back.
The least he could do was deny it. He just earned so much money, couldn’t he eat with his own money?
Pouting dejectedly, I followed him inside the cafe as we took one of the empty booths.
