Chapter 133: Hurt by his words
VALENCIA’S POV
"I think I will be fine. Since I am not at fault, I don’t have any reason to ask someone for help or something like that," I replied to the Prince before bowing to him.
"I know it’s disrespectful, but I am afraid I will have to leave right now," I said before turning around and leaving.
’You seriously have some guts leaving a prince like this. Are you courting death?’ Aurora asked, and I sighed.
’Well, what did you expect me to do? Didn’t you feel anything negative around him?’ I asked.
I didn’t know what it was, but from the moment he entered the room, even though my senses were calm and weren’t exactly going on any alert that they usually go when we are faced with any negative person, I couldn’t help but feel that something was definitely off about him.
Maybe it was the fact that he was asking me, a council’s spy, to spy on the Dark Callisto pack even when he was a prince and could literally choose anyone from his efficient team.
Or was it the fact that he got ready to help me hide a crime if I did that when he didn’t even know me, something was definitely not good about that man despite how handsome he was.
’Well, maybe you are thinking too much into things and he got ready to help you because he didn’t want any interruptions in his spying work and because, well, we all know how cute you actually look,’ Aurora said and I shook my head.
I can’t believe she was saying this out of all the people.
Then again, maybe it was because he was royalty and the wolf needed to respect the royalty. Who knows?
