Chapter 124: A labyrinth of cycle
VALENCIA’S POV
Darkness. Everywhere I was looking, I could only see darkness.
The environment around me was so dark that it was making me question if I had even opened my eyes yet. Was I really looking at something or were these just my thoughts?
Tip. Tap. Tip. Tap.
The sound of liquid dropping on the ground echoed from somewhere around me. I narrowed my eyes.
Did Carl leave the tap half-turned again? This guy never listens, I swear.
How many times have I asked him to check things before leaving the bathroom?
I turned around to walk towards the source of water, hoping I would find a switch for light as I tapped on the walls, not even sure which corner of the room I was standing at.
Ssssss...
A hissing sound of something creepy right behind me echoed, and I turned around hastily, my hand reaching out for the dagger on my waist that I keep with myself even when I sleep.
The dagger wasn’t there.
