"Val, how have you been? We heard what happened in that cafe. Are you okay?" One of the boys I knew was going to our adjacent University asked, and I smiled.
"Nothing to worry about when Cia is here," I winked and they chuckled before placing their orders.
"Order for table no. 7," I said on the counter before walking to another table and taking their order.
Once I took the three orders of the new customers, I sighed and leaned on the side.
Though it wasn’t that busy, the constant walking was definitely taking a toll on my wounds.
While I was busy relaxing, I heard the bell at the entrance ring which meant new customers.
Seriously, why can’t people cook at their houses too? I gritted my teeth, but then I smelt him, his heavy scent wafted through my nostrils, making me open my eyes immediately before I hid behind the pillar.
What the hell was he doing here?
