Chapter 70: Taking him home?
VALENCIA’S POV
After calming my head for some time, which included eating a lot of my favorite food, I was about to leave for my lecture with Aiden when I saw him swinging his backpack on his shoulders, and I realized something.
My backpack wasn’t with me.
It was with Shadow!!
And my phone was there too! The wolfsbane, the daggers laced in poison, everything was there.
What the -?! How the hell did I make this mistake?
I quickly stood from my seat, making the chair fall back, catching my friend’s attention immediately.
"What is it?" Henry asked, and I shook my head.
"I just remembered that I left my backpack in Mr. Shadow’s cabin. I will be back," I said to Aiden before rushing to the place as fast as I could.
As soon as I reached the door, I took a deep breath, preparing myself for all kinds of reactions from Shadow if he looked into my backpack or something.
I knocked on the door, and it wasn’t long before the man’s voice came.
