Chapter 37: The angels and the demons
THIRD PERSON’S POV
The lady dressed in a white gown appeared in the ice castle to report whatever happened on Earth.
The ice castle, made up of glass and ice, was one of the hidden castles, whose presence wasn’t even for the witches of the dark or white world.
Different seats with different throne patterns were aligned in long queues on both sides.
"I am back," The lady said, not introducing herself, and as soon as she did that, the queues of thrones started to fill with otherworldly people who had no connection with the Earthlings or the creatures roaming it.
"Well, we can hope you brought some good news," One of the ladies dressed in a red cloak with her half face hidden behind a veiled mask, whispered, her voice soft, but her tone sarcastic enough for the lady to clench her jaws.
The lady didn’t stop and just clicked her fingers, the long net-threaded sheer cloth train of her formal attire cascading across the floor as she moved forward to their ultimate goddess.
"The wolf is reincarnated indeed," the lady stopped before bending on her right knee to pay her ultimate respect, moving her train in front of her with a jerk before throwing it back, letting it dissolve into sparkles.
As soon as she was done paying her respect, the man who was standing on the small staircase with a black crystal wand in his hand, dressed in black from head to toe, slammed the wand on the ice stair as if awakening the deity and looked at the large veil that separated the rest of the hall and people from their ultimate goddess.
Seeing no reaction coming from inside, he was about to dismiss the angel when they saw a small sparkle moving out of the veiled area.
That was their goddess’s way of communication.
