Chapter 99 - 98. Worship (M)
Perhaps because both of them rarely cried, the tears stopped shortly after. But not with the hug. It didn’t seem like they wanted to separate from each other, even while Sarah was grumbling on Hajin’s shoulder.
"Why are you so stupid?"
"I’m sorry."
"You hypocrite!"
"I’m sorry,"
"Were you going to tell me if I didn’t find out?"
"...I’m sorry."
Sarah pulled away and hit the man’s shoulder as hard as she could--even though it still didn’t make him flinch. She would have grabbed a cushion and smashed the handsome face with it too if she could, but Hajin was holding her tightly on his lap.
Oh--it was too exhausting to get emotional in the middle of summer.
"I’m sorry, Princess. I truly didn’t think it was important--I didn’t even think about that man’s existence," Hajin said, looking up at the girl with nothing but sincerity in his eyes.
If the aunt had not talked to him and made the connection between him and Chairman Yoo, Hajin would probably never have met the man. The only time the man’s existence ever crossed his mind was when her mother returned to this country and when he felt angry because Sarah didn’t trust him back then.
