Chapter 80 - 79. Warm Cradle
Once, just once, Sarah had gone to an amusement park out of curiosity, alone. It was filled with crowds and she felt rather suffocated, so she decided to get on just one ride.
Naturally, she chose the most famous one: the roller coaster.
It was weird. As the ride climbed slowly to the peak, her body reacted to curiosity and anticipation, her heart pounding loudly as her vision was filled with the blue sky. When she finally reached the peak, there was a second or two of pause, as if the machine had shown her mercy, before plunging her down to the thrill of gravity.
At that moment, she felt like flying. Like her soul left her body for a moment. She did not scream--could not--for her mind was too focused on the new sensation of blood rushing and tingles crawling everywhere. Before she could digest that sensation, there was another climb that let her breathe before plunging her heart to the depth of her stomach once again.
She was dazed, she was stunned, and only on the last plunge did she scream like the others, as if her mind finally caught up with her body. Or was it the other way around? Sarah had no idea.
It was thrilling. If it wasn’t for the crowd and the long queue--or the way her legs were shaking--she wouldn’t mind going again.
For Sarah, sex was like that. At least, her first time. Even down to the lingering adrenaline and leftover excitement later.
She felt it deep in her bones, both the satisfaction of fulfilled expectations and the exhaustion that came after. She recalled looking at her own flushed face and the faces of the people after the ride.
She saw the same expression on the man above her, the same excitement and satisfaction. Flushed cheeks and a blissful smile she had never seen before. Almost dazed, almost loopy, and he looked even more charming than usual.
Ah...Sarah thought she was truly screwed.
Ironically, Sarah had a feeling that Hajin wouldn’t show any excitement if he rode a roller coaster. Probably just felt like he was riding a faster motorcycle. He did fly toward a moving truck, after all.
