Far ahead, he could see a massive forest—huge trees loomed up, blocking all light.
The farther he moved away from the castle, the more he could feel Wreth’s presence.
His senses started to come back.
It wasn’t that strong—
probably because of the lack of light.
He could tell Liz was probably somewhere deep in the dark.
Somewhere the sunlight wasn’t reaching.
A place where her shadows couldn’t fully appear.
Still, he felt slightly relieved.
He knew Liz was alive and okay—thanks to the ring.
