Chapter 8: Commencement Of The First Arc
The dorm rooms were quite lavish, which was to be expected considering all the higher nobles’ children live here.
My luggage had already been transferred here, and everything was already kept where it should have been, so I didn’t have to do much.
The bed wasn’t too large, but not small either.
The mattress was pretty comfortable, with a faint characteristic smell, maybe because it was new.
There was a chandelier, decorated with lights and candles, and the room was pretty much perfectly illuminated.
Overall, I would say the room lives up to it’s expectations.
I opened the window to gaze at the setting sun.
And it was beautiful.
The breeze drifting in through the open window was cool, brushing lightly against my skin.
The golden rays of the setting sun painted the sky in strokes of crimson and orange, stretching far beyond the stone walls of the Academy. The light made everything seem surreal—too perfect, too calm. It felt like the eye of a storm.
Even now, I couldn’t recall anything about my past.
