Chapter 51: Duskfang Isle
Logan, Orion, and the prince spent weeks on end on their journey.
The forest was a recurring location for them during that time.
"And what is the most powerful quality of the darkness element?" Logan asked the person whom he had spent weeks teaching.
"That’ll be the innate corrosive properties of the element." The Prince replied with a scowl.
"And what about the Earth element?" Orion chimed in, not wanting to feel excluded.
"That would be its rigidity and resilience." Prince William smiled softly as he answered the question with confidence.
"Okay. We’ve spent enough time resting, let’s get back to our journey." Logan spoke as he changed from the casual clothes Orion had stolen for him a week earlier into his familiar windbreaker.
Putting on his windbreaker and ensuring that his tachi was well placed in its sheath, Logan nodded at the other two to hurry with their preparation.
"We barely have over a month until the Academy resumes so why don’t we just head back and spend the rest of our holiday, I don’t know, relaxing like normal teenagers?" Orion groaned and dragged his feet.
"Here, place this in your storage ring." Prince William handed Orion a small book where he had been taking notes of his magic lessons.
Orion had acquired the ring by the same method he used to "earn" coins.
Looking at the ring on Orion’s finger, Logan couldn’t help but wonder how the hell he had ended up befriending a serial thief.
