"Rules for elite disciple promotion, the first test is stone lifting."
The black-robed elite disciple stood before everyone and explained the rules and requirements for this assessment.
Beside the elite disciple, there were ten stone blocks each three feet square, neatly arranged.
"Here are the stone blocks, ten in total. Each person has only one chance to stack them in four layers to pass. The time limit is an incense stick."
In the crowd, Lin Yuan looked at the stone blocks beside the elite disciple, listening to the explanation, and roughly understood what the assessment entailed.
"This test is really a test of the disciple’s Qi-Blood storage and explosive power," Lin Yuan understood in his heart.
The assessment simply required stacking four stone blocks vertically to form a stone pillar over ten feet high.
However, the simple rule was very difficult in practice.
It was impossible for people to jump three or even ten feet while holding a stone block, unless they were immensely powerful. Otherwise, they could only stack the blocks one by one to make it ladder-like, much like ordinary people needing stairs to reach the third floor.
Ordinary disciples would need to follow a pattern of three blocks for the first level, two for the second, and one for the third. Calculating this way, they needed to move blocks at least six times.
