The oppressive aura of a Peak God Meridian Realm descended, and everyone’s expression changed dramatically. It felt like a suffocating weight was crushing down on them.
“Chaos... Isn’t that the beast from the attack on the Yin-Yang Sect?” the Grand Elder exclaimed in shock. “Wasn’t it imprisoned?”
“Yeah, but now it’s my Meridian Beast,” Xu Zimo replied casually.
“Grand Elder, I’d watch your tone. My beast has a bad temper. If it goes berserk, even I might not be able to stop it.”
“You-” The Grand Elder pointed a trembling finger at Xu Zimo, his face clouded with emotion.
After a long silence, he snorted coldly and turned away.
“Patriarch Mo, isn’t it time we talked business?” Xu Zimo said with a faint smile.
Mo Canghai pondered for a moment before finally saying, “So, Young Master Xu, are you returning a punch yourself, or is your meridian beast doing it on your behalf?”
“Of course, I’ll do it personally,” Xu Zimo smiled.
“In that case, I have no objections,” Mo Canghai said, giving a subtle signal to the middle-aged man beside him.
After all, his younger brother was an Empyrean Meridian expert, not much weaker than he himself.
