Chapter 38 - 038
Tristan and Nita turned around after they heard Trevor’s voice, it took both of them a while to react. Tristan panicked immediately and quickly stepped in between them.
Gale looked slowly from Trevor to Tristan but silently gestured towards the car parked a few distance away.
"Do you know him?" Trevor asked Tristan as his gaze moved to Gale with a frown.
He moved slightly in front of Tristan to shield him from Gale.
His eyes were silently judging Gale as he did not recognise him as a fellow student and he wanted to protect Tristan from Gale.
Everyone was quiet waiting for Tristan’s response to the question Trevor asked but Tristan did what was unexpected and he shook his head without hesitation.
"No, I do not know him". He replied, his voice soft but firm.
He stared squarely at Gale as a wild thought struck him.
For all he knew, the Alpha doesn’t care about him and has finally abandoned him. So he could care less if he left and never returned.
"Huh?" Gale couldn’t believe his ears and stared at Tristan in shock.
"You?!" He spat angrily through gritted teeth.
"I do not know him at all". Tristan repeated in a firmer voice as he realised the power his words held for the first time as Trevor was waiting for his permission but after his response Trevor turned to face Gale with a stern look.
