Chapter 2 - 002
"Tristan!
Wake up" The voice sounded so far away but the hand that tapped repeatedly on his shoulder wasn’t.
He frowned as he stretched on the bed.
He had slept in his clothes and his glasses had fallen off.
Looking around for it between the sheets, he was finally able to see the stranger beside his mother.
"Good morning Mom" He greeted in a sleepy voice, still confused that a total stranger was standing and staring at him in the middle of his room.
"Go and take your bath. This is the person that would help you prepare" She announced and everything that happened yesterday finally rushed back.
"Mom!" He held her back as she made to walk out of the room.
"I don’t think I can do it. What if he kills me after he finds out the truth?"
He asked in a desperate voice.
"Your father will sort that out, just do as he says for now" She removed his hand from her arm and finally walked out.
