Chapter 68: One pregnant resident.
"Quinn." Poncho spread his arms out and suddenly hugged Hades like he was seeing an old friend. "Man is it great to see you. I figured that you would be here since my boys delivered your weapons here."
Hades pushed Poncho away. "You haven’t answered my question?"
Poncho took a step back. "I need you to take in my family Quinn. Before you turn me down, I brought weapons in exchange and three vans with food. I was going to send them to my cousin, but family can let you down sometimes. I am afraid that when it comes to a choice between mine and his, he will choose his.
This place on other hand, I know that you have been taking in strangers, professionals in all fields. You are doing business, and I can work with that. The world has turned into shit; everyone is losing their minds.
Fear has got everyone by the balls man. This place is far from the city, you have that giant ass gate, soldiers and I am guessing food and medicine. Can you take them in? I brought you stingers, starstreaks, a couple of FN-6’s and Igla’s." He leaned towards Hades and whispered, "Missiles."
Hades was impressed; missiles were welcome. Poncho had more than earned his family a place at the base. His breath smelled like garlic though.
Hades leaned back and nodded, "You brought me missiles and food. How can I say no to that? There is more than enough room for them here."
He gestured at Sunshine with a thumbs up and she invited Poncho’s family to start registering. The gates were opened and the vans with supplies and missiles drove in.
They were offloaded from nearby. Soldiers raised their brows when they saw missiles, those that could be launched by hand and drones.
