Jiang An had no choice but to walk around to the front and open the car door to sit in the passenger seat, while Gao Chuan next to her had already started the car smoothly. She couldn’t help but sneak a glance at the man.
Today, Gao Chuan had broken his usual routine of wearing suits and shirts and instead simply wore a round-necked black T-shirt. The half-sleeve revealed his smooth muscle lines, exuding a strong hormonal scent, and his delicate face didn’t look like that of a man in his thirties at all.
Jiang An couldn’t help but be dumbfounded, as she had only ever seen him in stiff suits or lab coats before, and had never seen Gao Chuan dressed like this.
The man suddenly turned his head and their eyes met. Jiang An quickly looked away from his gaze and out the window. A few seconds later, she suddenly felt a figure leaning in. When she turned back, she was met with the man’s sturdy chest, holding her breath, her brows and eyes revealing a bit of surprise.
Gao Chuan had already reached over her side to fasten the seat belt. Seeing her astonished expression, he sat back down and turned his head to gently remind her, "You need to fasten your seat belt."
Jiang An came back to her senses and looked down at the seat belt already pulled over by the man, giving a simple "hm" in response.
The child in the back seat was oblivious to the excitement of the two adults in front and was chatting with Jiang An as the car started moving. She occasionally turned her head and patiently responded to him.
Gao Chuan listened to the conversation between the two the whole way and didn’t say a single word, perfectly fitting into his role as the "driver."
Today was clear and sunny, and upon their arrival at the amusement park, it was already bustling with people and a variety of entertaining attractions, with joyful laughter everywhere.
Gao Chuan went ahead to line up for tickets while Jiang An waited under the shade of a tree with Yanyan. The excited child, upon reaching the crowded place, spotted toys for sale nearby and eagerly pulled Jiang An over, selecting a Mickey Mouse headband to put on her.
