The first to see Gao Chuan coming over was not Jiang An, but two young nurses walking arm in arm beside her, who secretly pointed to the broad-shouldered, narrow-waisted man and whispered in admiration, "Look, look, how handsome!"
Jiang An followed the sound and looked over, her gaze meandering and momentarily locking with that of the man in a black suit who was walking towards them. After staring for a few seconds, she quickly averted her eyes.
The two unsuspecting nurses beside her saw that Gao Chuan was walking towards them, and they already began to feel their hearts flutter.
Soon, the man reached where they were standing; his towering figure overshadowed Jiang An in front of him, and without a word, he tried to hand the flowers to Jiang An, who was thinking about how to avoid him.

The excited words of the young girls reached Gao Chuan’s ears, and the man nodded slightly towards them. His gaze immediately fell back on Jiang An and he began to explain, "I was on a business trip these past few days and didn’t have a chance to tell you."
The nurses heard this and covered their mouths with a meaningful look, smiling as they guessed that the man must have come to apologize with flowers because he went on a business trip without notifying Jiang An.
Jiang An, on the other hand, almost rolled her eyes, thinking what his business trip had to do with her and that she didn’t need to know.
"Do you still like the flowers I sent?" The man stared at Jiang An, who kept her head down in silence, his voice low and serious.
Before Jiang An could even speak, the two nurses next to her, perceptive of the situation, quickly advised, "Dr. Jiang, just forgive him already. Where can you find such a romantic boyfriend?"
