Gao Chuan immediately dismissed the idea, explaining that he wouldn’t be mentoring interns due to his ongoing experiments.
Noticing Jiang An’s spirits drop, Gao Chuan sensed the girl’s nervousness and reassured her softly, "Relax, everyone in the department is easy to get along with."
Half an hour later, the car finally turned into the hospital’s underground parking garage. As Jiang An unbuckled her seatbelt, she reminded Gao Chuan, "Doctor Gao, please remember what I mentioned yesterday, definitely."
Gao Chuan still tightly gripped the steering wheel, watching the girl hurriedly get out of the car, he nodded slightly to her words. He remembered the night before when she had knocked on his door, asking him to conceal their marital status within the department.
