Chapter 654: Rise to Fame (3)
"It’s fine, trust me, it’s just taking care of two kids, how could I possibly have any problems?" Su Yanyi said confidently. Just because she hadn’t looked after children much didn’t mean she couldn’t do it. It’s just childcare, how hard could it be?
And so, Qin Jiran could only nod anxiously, but he had made up his mind to cut short the program recording time and come back early to keep Yanyi company. He also had to give a thorough talking to Kangaroo and Tyrannosaur, instructing them to take good care of Yanyi and the kids.
That evening, Qin Jiran quietly sought out Tyrannosaur and Kangaroo and prattled on about how to take care of the children, causing several members of the Dark One team to look unspeakably dismayed.
"Son-in-law, before we came here, the missus told us everything you’re saying at least three times. The brothers all have good memories. How about you get some rest a bit earlier?" Kangaroo explained with a laugh, visibly hoping Qin Jiran would spare their ears—as they could practically recite his instructions by heart.
"Ahem, then I’ll count on you guys. If anything happens, just give me a call, and I’ll rush back as soon as possible," Qin Jiran said with an awkward smile. He knew he was being overly anxious but couldn’t help worrying about Yanyi and the kids.
"Don’t worry, we’ll do our best!" Kangaroo promised. After all, the ten members of the Dark One team adored the two little ones immensely. If these kids weren’t from their young miss’s family, they might have even considered snatching them away.
On the day of the second competition, Qin Jiran dawdled until the last minute before leaving the hotel with a heavy heart and hurried to the recording site, leaving Su Yanyi alone to take care of the two kids. Of course, the Dark One team’s members were there too, but Yanyi insisted on doing everything herself—mixing formula, feeding them, changing their clothes, and playing with them from time to time. In her view, none of this was too difficult at all.
However, not long into her care, a problem arose. The two little ones, after drinking a bottle of milk each, still seemed unsatisfied, crying out as if to say they hadn’t eaten their fill.
