Chapter 429: Romance on the High Seas (5)
Qin Jiran furrowed his brows even tighter, as he evidently did not like discussing the matters between him and Yanyi with others, especially other men!
Corey, having grown up abroad, held quite open views and didn’t see an issue with such discussions, but as he opened his mouth, he abruptly sensed the surrounding temperature drop significantly. Qin Jiran and Su Yanyi both gave him a chilling look at the same time, which startled him, and he promptly shut up. This couple’s gaze was terrifying!
Meanwhile, on the stage, the trainer’s whip was fiercely lashing against the woman’s body. The woman’s pained pleas were stirring the audience’s blood, making it seem like they all wanted to take the trainer’s place.
"Ahem, if you don’t like this, I can change it for something else for you, just don’t glare at me like that," Corey said as he waved his hand. Someone immediately approached him, and after Corey whispered a few words to the person, they went off to make arrangements.
The show on stage quickly changed, with the audience clamoring for more of the previous act, but the director obviously wasn’t going to pay them any heed. The preparation for the second act then began.
The wheel of fortune was a prop. In truth, this wasn’t exactly an innovative game; the performances here were merely to liven things up. It was a bit cliché but nonetheless thrilling.
Unlike the enchanting woman before, this time a man was tied to the wheel of fortune. However, the man was quite slender as well, exuding a fragile beauty that satisfied a particular taste among a small group of people.
After the man was bound to the wheel, a blindfold covered his eyes. Then the dart thrower stepped up on stage. As the wheel spun, he started to throw darts. Each throw elicited a round of cheers from the audience.
