Little White Tiger was lying lazily by her feet, gazing curiously out of the window, while on the other side of the floor-to-ceiling window, Little Golden Turtle was striving forward, carrying a piece of cookie that no one knew where it had come from, determinedly making its way towards its friends.
Qin Jiran captured this scene with his camera, including everyone’s smiles—the elders, parents, his wife, children, pets—all gathered together, the jubilant laughter made it feel incredibly warm.
"Wow, I got a coin, money every year!" Mother Su happily exclaimed as she spat out a copper coin.
"Ouch, I bit into a piece of candy, so sweet it’s killing me," Old Master Su complained with a candy in his mouth, not sure whether to eat it or spit it out, his face a picture of suffering.
Su Yanyi was also eating dumplings. She bit down, and a crisp sound followed. After a pause of one second, she continued eating. However, this sight did not escape Qin Jiran, who asked, "Did you get something? What was it?"
Su Yanyi blinked and replied calmly, "Peanuts."
"Ouch, peanuts, may you have children soon, haha, Yanyi and Jiran, it’s a new year, you two need to work hard!" Mother Su burst into happy laughter upon hearing this, as her greatest wish now was to have grandchildren.
Su Yanyi calmly stated that this matter was still under consideration!
