"For me?" Su Yanyi asked quite directly.
"To dry your hair?" Qin Jiran asked helplessly and indulgently.
Then, the two of them exchanged items in perfect unison, Qin Jiran handing over the photo album to Yanyi, saying, "It can count as a gift, don’t look down on it."
As he spoke, Qin Jiran took the towel passed by Su Yanyi and, pulling her to sit down on the couch beside him, began to dry her hair, while Su Yanyi started to flip through the album with great interest.
The first photo in the album was a family portrait of their family of three, Little Golden Turtle looking so silly it made people want to laugh. Qin Jiran’s face was filled with a doting smile which made Su Yanyi blink, while she herself had a cold expression. Su Yanyi thought about it and felt that she still looked very pretty.
The album wasn’t the typical type but a handmade one where pictures could be casually pasted. According to Qin Jiran’s aesthetic, he had stuck the photos one by one, with some notes written around them; sometimes it was a date, other times just a few simple words like ’happy’, but these seemed to convey the owner’s full good mood.
Su Yanyi looked through the photos one by one. The technique used wasn’t very professional; most were from their daily life, especially the latter half, which were taken on location during the shoot—some while making a snowman, some during sledging, and a few that she didn’t even know when were sneakily taken. But every photo featured both her and Qin Jiran, and the feeling between the two was very warm.
