So when this scene ended and Guo Zekai joyously called cut, everybody secretly breathed a sigh of relief. However, Su Yanyi, with her lips tightly pursed, did not show the slightest hint of happiness. She hurried to the spot where Qin Jiran had last come to a rolling stop, her steps exceptionally quick.
By this time, Qin Jiran had already climbed to his feet, not bothering about the snow clinging to his body, and started walking towards Su Yanyi. He wanted to let Yanyi know he was truly alright and to ease her worries.
The two of them were walking towards each other and soon gathered together. Su Yanyi gave Qin Jiran a thorough look-over before she finally let her guard down.
Qin Jiran gently hugged Su Yanyi, careful not to hold her too tightly because of the snow on him, then he smiled tenderly to soothe her.
The subsequent scenes, though not so easy to film, did not have overly dangerous shots. Su Yanyi watched quietly from the side without interfering, but her complexion wasn’t great, causing those around her to keep their distance, fearful of being implicated.
After filming had ended, Su Yanyi immediately walked over to Qin Jiran. Without saying a word, she took his hand and led him away.
Qin Jiran, of course, would not resist; he interpreted Yanyi’s actions as concern for him. While walking, he thought about what to cook for Yanyi that evening. However, when they returned to their temporary little house, he realized that reality was quite different from his imagination.
Su Yanyi pushed Qin Jiran onto the kang bed and said with a cold voice, "Take off your clothes."
Qin Jiran’s face turned red in an instant, his eyes wide as if he were looking at an alien!
"What are you looking at? I told you to take off your clothes, hurry up. You don’t want your cold to get worse, do you?" Su Yanyi’s tone became slightly impatient, but her concern was evident. Qin Jiran knew he had been overthinking and, feeling embarrassed, he smiled sheepishly and began to undress.
Seeing that Qin Jiran was obediently undressing, Su Yanyi turned and went to the kitchen. Although they usually used a stove, the film crew also had an induction cooker, which Su Yanyi knew how to use. She searched in the System, then began to operate it.
