After some thought, Qin Jiran managed to suppress the sadness in his heart and spoke in an incredibly complicated tone, "Yanyi, do we really have to get a divorce?"
And his words made Su Yanyi's gaze instantly become even more complex.
As it turned out, she had indeed traveled back in time to three years ago, and it was an exceptionally special day for her—it was the day she had decided to go through with the divorce proceedings with Qin Jiran.
When she became a vegetative patient, she had thought, if she could turn back time, would she still divorce Qin Jiran so heartlessly, would she still treat Qin Jiran so coldly!
Her attitude towards Qin Jiran had always been poor. When they met, she was the president of the entertainment company, and he was just a newcomer who had just debuted. Had it not been to fulfill the demands of her family, she would have never married, much less been with Qin Jiran.
Their contract marriage was also initiated by her, proposing it almost like a business deal. So, their relationship was less that of husband and wife and more like that of a boss and a subordinate. Even though they lived in the same house, they often wouldn't see each other for two or three months at a time; and even when they did, their conversations were nothing but a few meaningless words, icy and distant.
Su Yanyi had always believed that Qin Jiran agreed to the deal for fame and status, so she felt absolutely no guilt when she chose to divorce—completely unaware that this man, whether entering the entertainment industry as an artist or entering into a contract marriage with her, did so only because he liked her.
