Chapter 165: Make A Run For It
I screamed loudly using all my breath as I tried to push the baby out. I collapsed back against the edge of the bathtub, practicing my breathing techniques that I had learnt. The pool was too bloody, so Heather and Ivana had found a bathtub, filled with water and carried me inside it. I screamed again as I held my knees but there was still nothing. Heaving out a sigh, I rested my head backwards, breathing heavily as Ada coerced me to push again and I swear I was just one minute away from punching her. She keeps asking me to push like it was that easy to push a human out of my vagina. Heather and Ivana wiped my brows with some towel, murmuring words of encouragement.
"You can do it Dahlia, just..."
"Please don’t tell me to push." I said breathing out, "I am doing my best here!"
"Well it’s not good enough!" Ada snapped at me, "The longer you stay like this, the more dangerous it becomes for you and the baby, now push!"
Ivana’s head snapped up as she glared at Ada. "Do you like maybe want to take it easy on her? She’s trying her best here!"
"Like I said her best simply isn’t good enough!" Ada retorted sharply, "We are under attack, my sisters are out there in the woods trying to look for a way out and I’m damn sure those draumheimiers are also in the woods with them. So I’m sorry if I do not have the time to coddle your perfect little princess!"
Heather scoffed in disbelief but didn’t say anything. She just continued to dab the wash clothes on my body. She smiled softly at me as she removed the matted hair that stuck to my forehead. "You are doing great my lady."
I nodded my head weakly as I stared at her. "You think?"
"Of course, the baby is going to come anytime soon!"
"Not if she continues like this..." Ada snorted and we all turned to glare at her.
The look on Heather’s face changed from concern to that of anger. She slammed down the towel she was holding and glared up at Ada, "Okay seriously what is your problem?"
