Chapter 129: The Secret Exposed
The carriage rolled smoothly on the way to my father’s estate but the tension inside was anything but calm. Lady Ivana sat opposite me with a smile on her face, her gaze fixed on the passing scenery. I stared at her trying to wonder what her deal was but Ivana was a complicated woman, she was just as dangerous to. But what really bothered me in all of this was the fact that she knew who I was besides just a princess and before I had a chance to confront her she was already inside leaving me stunned and wondering how she knew.
So in order not to arouse suspicion, I followed her quietly inside the carriage while Nikolai and Eddie escorted us. But ever since we got into the carriage, she has remained quiet. Watching every scenery outside the window like a child who had never been outside and was just seeing the outside world for the very first time.
Her silence was starting to get on my nerves though, I needed her to tell me how she knew about my identity considering I had never seen her before until Reagan threw that party and now somehow, someway, she knew all about what I am. I wanted to hear how right now.
I cleared my throat bringing my attention to myself. Ivana turned to look at me, slowly appraising me with her eyes, still smiling she turned to look out the window, apparently finding it more interesting than me.
"What’s wrong Dahlia, you look a wee bit tense." She stated.
Tense? That little bi_
I took a deep breath to calm myself down. "You know who I am."
"What? The bla_"
"Not in here!" I snapped at her in anger.
