The shop assistant at the teahouse warmly welcomed them upon their arrival. Cai Wei asked for a private room upstairs and after settling in, she quietly waited. Before long, Auntie Liu brought the two men in. They appeared to be in their early twenties, looking robust and sturdy, although their skill was unknown.
"Miss, may I ask why you’ve summoned us here?" one man asked politely, greeting Cai Wei with a clasped-fist salute.
Cai Wei gestured with her hand, "Please sit. Let’s talk slowly."
The two men sat down unperturbed and said, "May we know what’s on Miss’s mind?"
"I will resolve your elder brother’s matter. Within a month, I assure you he will be freed from his imprisonment. How does that sound?" Cai Wei said.
The two men exchanged glances, skeptical yet hopeful. One of them asked, "Why would Miss want to help us? And what would you require in return from us brothers?"
Cai Wei thought to herself, ’This situation was indeed caused by me. Saving your brother is only reasonable and expected, so why would there be a need for repayment?’
