Although there were chickens and geese at home, they were still young and not yet ready to be eaten.

Cai Wei casually put the ledger aside and said with a laugh, "Trust your people and they wouldn’t give you reasons to suspect them. Zhang Biaotou, as long as you report the total income of the manor to me at the end of each year, it’s fine. As for these miscellaneous accounts, it doesn’t matter if I don’t check."
Feeling trusted by Cai Wei, Zhang Biaotou’s family was deeply moved. They owed her a lot, and they could not express their gratitude in a few words, thus nobody said anything. They held their gratitude deeply in their hearts and started eating.
After the meal, Cai Wei, accompanied by Huan Qiu and Dou Momo, left in a horse carriage. Zhang Biaotou wanted to accompany her back, but was rejected by Cai Wei. She still had a lot of things to do. With Zhang Biaotou there, it wouldn’t be convenient.
