Upon entering the kitchen, Cai Wei washed her hands and returned to the kang table, picking up a mold before joining them in making biscuits.
Lady Du said, "You’ve been busy all day, you should rest. We don’t need your help here. The four of us can handle it."
Cai Wei smiled and said, "I am not tired. With an extra pair of hands, we can make even more. Mother doesn’t know this, but the pastries from our store are in high demand. Yesterday’s batch sold out before noon. There was a long line of customers who couldn’t buy any!"
