Saknu was briefly taken aback, then burst into loud, hearty laughter!
Cai Wei ignored his wild laughter and walked away directly. This brute of a man was too dangerous. It wasn’t suitable to create disorder, in order to avoid implicating her family again.
With these thoughts, she hastened her pace. As she was walking briskly, she suddenly heard the rapid clattering of horse hooves behind her. Turning around, she saw a steed with shiny black coat galloping towards her. On horseback, Saknu of Liaodan Kingdom was half-bent over, like a nimble cheetah, his deep eyes flashing with the excitement of a cheetah on the hunt. With one hand holding the reins, the other already reaching towards her.
Shocked, Cai Wei jumped up to retaliate, but Saknu was quicker. He grabbed her waistband in one swift move and pulled her onto the horse.
"Oh—Oh—"
The crowd of Liaodan people cheered, raising their curved knives at their waists, celebrating as if they had returned from a hunt.
Saknu was laughing boisterously, holding Cai Wei in one arm, placing her across his legs, while the other hand held the reins, charging the horse forward.
He looked down at Cai Wei from high above and arrogantly declared.
"Woman, you are mine now!"
