The grill and skewers were from the restaurant. She had used her thoughts to put them into her space, including the essential items required for barbecuing such as the charcoal fire, strainer, and spices.
She had prepared the fish she caught last night, made some cuts on the back of the fish with a knife, and brushed it with salt and Sichuan pepper so that it could better absorb the flavors during the grilling process.
She also soaked some shells in salty water to help them expel the grit.
Having just meat skewers and fish and shrimp was not enough, some vegetables were needed to balance out the greasy taste. She picked a few eggplants from the field, dug out some sweet and white potatoes, washed them and cut them into thin slices, ready to be grilled on the strainer later.
Once everything was ready, she started grilling. Not long after, the fragrance of the meat skewers filled her space, making Brother Parrot’s beak drool, Chang Mei was scratching his head and cheeks while looking at the skewers, and even the usually composed Great Immortal Turtle couldn’t help but slowly crawl over and sniff around the stove.
"It’s ready, have a taste, see if it’s good!"
Cai Wei put the first batch of skewers onto a plate and put it on the grass.
