Chapter 1320: Destiny

The mountain was surrounded by layers upon layers of golden divine clouds, above which stood an enormous stone plaque that was over a hundred thousand feet tall and giving off dazzling, golden radiance.
The plaque was riddled with golden characters that appeared to have been names that varied in size, and the golden names were laid out from top to bottom in order of largest to smallest.
The third name on the plaque was none other than Han Li, and right at this moment, it suddenly swelled drastically in size before leapfrogging the two names above it to reach the top of the list.
Immediately thereafter, a white-robed man in a wheelchair appeared in front of the stone plaque amid a burst of spatial fluctuations.
Standing beside him was a young man with a golden complexion that was matched by his golden robe, giving him a regal appearance.
His eyes were shimmering with a dreamy golden light that made it impossible for one to look directly into them, and they seemed to have transcended some laws of heaven and earth.
"Impossible! How could he have reached the late-Great Encompassment Stage so quickly?" the golden-robed young man exclaimed in an incredulous manner.
"Indeed, he managed to get there before you," the wheelchair-bound man remarked wti ha faint smile.
"Please forgive my incompetence!" the golden-robed young man said as he immediately fell to his knees.
"Han Li has received Miro's inheritance, so it's no surprise that he's progressing faster in his cultivation than you. However, I have high hopes for you, so don't disappoint me," the wheelchair-bound man said, then vanished in a flash.
