Chapter 1241: Battle Between Selves
Han Li was cackling with glee, and it was difficult for Lan Yan to fathom that this twisted and malicious abomination of a man was actually Han Li.
Weeping Soul cast aside the blood that she had thrown up into the palm of her hand with a look of mixed emotions in her eyes.
Lan Yan cast her gaze toward Weeping Soul, and she was just about to say something when the latter suddenly yelled, "Look out!"
Lan Yan immediately sprang into action at this warning, moving over a thousand feet horizontally in the blink of an eye.
She had only just moved from her original spot when an enormous crater was blasted into the ground there amid a resounding boom.
"He seems to have grown even more powerful in this state," Weeping Soul yelled.
"The Corpse Severance Talisman has already taken effect. His wicked corpse soul has taken over his body, and if he's unable to sever it, then it will sever him and completely claim his body," Lan Yan said in a horrified manner as she rushed to Weeping Soul's side.
"We have to do something. At the very least, we have to restrict his movements," Weeping Soul said in a grim voice.
"How do we do that?" Lan Yan hurriedly asked.
"Help me keep him occupied for a moment, I'll think of a plan," Weeping Soul replied with a solemn expression.
Before Lan Yan had a chance to ask any further questions, Han Li erupted out of the crater up ahead, launching himself high up into the air before swooping down upon them at an incredible speed.
