Chapter 1161: Crushing Victory
After releasing those three pillars of golden light, the golden cloud had finally exhausted all of its power, and it quickly dissipated, returning the sky to its original state.
The golden mountain rapidly shrank down before descending out of the sky, but right at this moment, countless white threads emerged out of thin air directly beneath it without any warning, and the mountain was instantly ensnared by the mass of white threads.
As a result, all of its downward momentum was arrested, and it was completely immobilized and suspended in mid-air.
At the same time, a vast expanse of white light appeared above the mountain, then transformed into a gargantuan white claw that came swooping down from above.
The space beneath the claw began to collapse, forming a huge black hole that threatened to devour the golden mountain whole like a gaping mouth.
All of a sudden, the golden mountain began trembling violently, and the rays of light that were as sharp as sword qi shot out of the mountain, hurtling toward the surrounding white threads and the giant, white claw.
The rays of light were incredibly sharp, able to tear through the space in its path with ease, but the white threads were extraordinarily resilient, remaining completely unscathed in the face of the storm of golden light. As for the white claw, the rays of golden light weren't even able to reach it before they were devoured by the black hole beneath the claw.
Right as the golden mountain was about to be caught by the massive, white claw, a burst of radiant, golden light suddenly erupted into the air from the mountain down below, then rapidly elongated to form a fiery, golden dragon that let loose a thunderous, draconic roar.
In the blink of an eye, it arrived in front of the golden mountain, the golden dragon coiled itself around the mountain, encompassing all of the white threads within its own body.
The white threads began flashing with white light, but the white light was quickly smothered by the golden flames, and all of a sudden, the white threads began extremely frail, burning away just like any normal silken threads would.
Immediately thereafter, the fiery, golden dragon sprang up and crashed violently into the giant, white claw, tearing it apart with ease before causing it to explode violently.
