The same message appeared, with no new information. This meant that whatever he was about to hear either never happened in the Tower or happened before they could hear it.
"It's somehow related to the overflowing amount of pirates."
His words made the old man laugh loudly, almost opening the wound again. He took a step back and presented all of his rusty self.
"I am Blackbeard, The Apex of Pirating."
Leo looked at him with his eyes and mouth wide open, unable to comprehend what he had just said. The person who had spiraled the 15th-floor events into a downward spiral was an old, dying man.
