The next day, Kenji and Haruka got up early, as today, Kenji had decided to slowly fufill the promises that he had made.
Today: They were heading off to the library in search of a clue about Haruka’s bloodline.
As Haruka was a Cloud Moon Fox without any access to her bloodline, she was basically very weak to a strong opponent.
And knowing that he was definitely going to fight bigger and stronger opponents in the future, along with groups like the Crimson veil cult, he needed everyone around him to be strong and at full potential, and that included Haruka.
He was hoping to also find out a thing or two about the crimson veil while on this adventure, as it was best to know your enemy right before they strike. He didn’t want to be caught off guard.
" Alright, we’re leaving little munchkins!" Kenji announced, as he gave the kids another big hug.
This was the fourth time he was hugging them today.
He felt really guilty for the fact that he had last them throughout yesterday and only arrived later at night. So now that he was leaving them again so soon, made his heart ache.
" Okay Daddy! Have fun!" Pheia said in a supporting manner, as if even pushing Kenji to leave already. It seemed she was already tired of his constant hugging sessions, and fear d that if this goes on, he was never going to leave.
