Chapter 20: Battling A Fire Sprite.
" Hey beast! Pick on someone your own size!!" Kenji said with burning anger in his chest. How dare such a low life creature try to hurt cute little children? He's not going to let that happen!
Rrraaahh!
The fire sprite roared in anger, as it shook it's flaming body to loosen up, and suddenly a huge fire ball flew out of it's mouth, rolling in the air with the intent to kill.
It mived so quick in the air, that without noticing it, the fireball was only a few distances away from hitting him!
Kenji swung the tree branch again, hitting the fireball and directing the huge ball of fire to another tree, burning it up!
Keni looked at the branch in his hand, ready to hit another of the fire sprite's attacks, when he realized that the branch in his hand was already scorched to coal! He was literally just carrying a big chunk of coal right now!
He then turned his head to look at the tree which had just been burned up by the fireball, only to realize that it too had been scorched black like coal!
Rrraaahh!!
Kenji looked back at the monster who seemed to be ready to release another fireball, and if it does, Kenji might just become a coal-made human statue.
But then he turned his head to the kids behind him, and the fear in their eyes suddenly made his heart skip.
He felt wronged!
