Chapter 9: Adventuring Rumour.
"Stop staring at my boobs like that. You look like a pervert," the woman said, crossing her arms with a dissatisfied expression.
"A-Ah! I—I'm sorry! It was unintentional!" Lenji stammered, his face heating up as he realized he had indeed been staring. The embarrassment hit him like a wave, and he quickly looked away, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Whatever." She waved him off nonchalantly. "I've had customers look at me in much worse ways. Or... are you actually thinking about doing dirty things with me?" she added, narrowing her eyes in mock suspicion.
Lenji panicked. "No! No! I swear, it wasn't like that!" He bowed his head in a desperate apology.
"Pfft! Hahaha!" The woman suddenly burst into laughter, holding her stomach. "Relax, I was just messing with you! No need to be so serious."
Lenji exhaled sharply, wiping imaginary sweat off his forehead. "You scared me for a second there..."
"This is the kind of place where we joke around with customers, so don't take things too seriously," she said, her smile relaxing. "If I offended you, though, my bad
" Nah, that's okay, I totally understand. But next time how about you give me a heads up before you joke with me like that. It felt as of my heart was going to burst from embarrassment," Kenji said with a slight smile, but his body was still a bit shaken at his vulgee act. How could he have done such a thing, though, she was really beautiful.
" Anyways sir, how may I help you today, and by that I mean what kind of clothes would you like to buy?" She said, leaving the fun part to the business part. She even wore a poker face. She was really ready for business.
