Chapter 29: Teleport crystal
Somewhere in the capital.
The sound of the wagon moving across the uneven terrain echoed.
Inside the back of the said wagon were Rashin and his subordinates.
It wasn't long after they had hung the bodies of the Hakias in the forest that they hopped on the wagon of a lone traveler who was also heading towards the same place they planned on going.
Although they had to pay for the ride, it wasn't really an issue considering they had money to spare.
"Hey, are you asleep yet?" Eri suddenly asked, her back resting on the wall with her body covered with a small fabric.
She could barely open her eyes, the fatigue still weighing down on her.
"No, not yet," replied Rashin.
In his hand was his bow, while Daki fell asleep on his lap.
"You're working?"
"Yeah, you don't have to stay awake. I told you I'll keep watching," Rashin said to her.
