Chapter 132: Blink of an Eye
Jiang Hao became speechless inwardly. This monk was truly shameless. He sighed; there was no reason to argue with them.
He looked towards all the cultivators who were inside the array and surrounding him. There were thirteen from Ethereal Cloud Sanctuary, eleven from Azure Sky Sect, and seven from this unknown monastery.
There were twelve peak-stage grade beasts, while some of the early-stage grade-four beasts waited outside the array as they couldn’t attack him.
He took out his sword and waited for any of them to move. There was no need for him to attack; they would do so on their own if they wanted to tire and waste his spirit qi.
As expected, just as he brought out his sword, he saw them bringing out their own weapons, most of which were spears and bows.
He had expected this much, as they wouldn’t want to get close to him unconditionally, not without wasting much of his time.
Arrows launched from a peak-grade-three weapon were fast, no doubt, but not so fast that he couldn’t see them. Even those coming from behind were easily perceived by his instincts. He executed the most simple movements and dodged every single one of them.
His battle sense might only work in close range, but the ways to dodge even the most sophisticated attacks had already been ingrained in him by Huan Caiyi.
Lots of cultivators had already come out to watch the show. They thought that being surrounded by the cultivators of top three sects of the world was enough to kill anyone. In fact, using thirty cultivators to surround one person seemed like overkill.
They were so certain it would end quickly and brutally. But when Jiang Hao dodged every single arrow with ease, as though he had seen through each one of them, they were stunned. None of them had the confidence to stand against even two cultivators using arrows, much less thirty. So it was truly shocking to see Jiang Hao do it.
Even Jing Tian hadn’t expected that. He hadn’t expected Jiang Hao to enter the trap which restricted his spirit qi. He thought Jiang Hao had some sort of plan, which was why he had stopped them here. But no, he entered the area of the array like he didn’t even know about it.
