The dawn light crept over the horizon, painting the sky above Abyss in shades of gold and crimson, a vivid contrast to the fading glow of the two moons that had watched over the territory through the night. The air was cool, carrying the scent of pine and earth, mixed with the subtle metallic tang unique to Central Land.
